This is for people to fool around on. There is absolutely NO plot, so people can just post random bits of story sparkings or whatnot on here. It doesn't really have to make sense. The only guideline is that you must ask the person who came up with a character for their permission to power play with their character. Example- if So and So wants to use This or That's character, So and So must ask POLITELY. No threats. This means that you can power play, it's just limited power play.

Ha! Okay, here's an assignment sort of thing. Write a few sentences, or a short story, or a poem about the following scene: "I told you so, Cap'n!" he screamed.

The deck was lurching, and the ordering shouts could barely be heard. A thundering roar, blasting like the groans of time, rifled through the air - constant, continuous. I quickly scaled the rigging, and had a quick look-see. . . and immediatly wished I hadn't.
Where the ocean had been, stretching out to the clear, crips horizon, now ended. A waterfall, bigger than what me own eyes could take in churned, a little to starboard. I could see Cap'n below, tearing at his clothes, at his hair. With a single, haughty blow, he crushed the wooden globe into smithereens. The thing had been in his quaters as long as I could remember, and now it was gone, like the rest of us would soon be. I considered jumping from my perch. The death would be swift, almost painless, and the men could throw the body overboard to see how swift the water really was flowing. Nah, I decided. Coward.
I climbed down slowly, taking my sweet time, enjoying the last feel of the wind, the smell of the sea, the feel of the ropes. I had just reached the bottom, and had swung onto deck when Cap'n began angrily stomping on the wooden shards of the globe. His face red, his clothes torn - I coulda mistaken him for the devil himself. We had told him the world was flat but Noooo . . . Cap'n was convinced it was round. So here we were, all the men on deck -- some weeping, some standing as stone, some even laughing -- awaiting our deaths. Awaiting our doom, at the end of the earth. Bo'sun was standing beside Cap'n, all his three chins wobbling with the ever-wild sea. He nervously pulled on his collar. "Er, Cap'n," he began. "Oh do shut-up!" the other returned. "Figure out a plan! We must escape!" Bo'sun shrugged. He studied another ship, a pretty Spain one, on our port side, struggle in the tides. It was too far to call, and so we could only watch. "Nut'n I can do," he muttered.
Suddenly, the ship pitched sickeningly. Everyone staggered, even the hardiest of sea-legs. The deck swayed dangerously. I fell to my knees, clutching the mizzen. "Lost!" the captin bellowed, his voice cracking in spineless whimpers. "All Lost!" Another lurch. Another spin. From where I was, I could see the end of the waterfall, all the way down to the misty gullet of the earth. "Mother of God!" someone yelped. I lay there, gasping for breath, huddled, weary, awaiting the plunge, the long fall to eternity.
But it never came.
Instead, the ship floated out, over the steamy abyss, floating on air! The Cap'ns girlish sobs turned to crys of joy. Saved, from a doomed death!
But now what?

Do you see me? Do you know I’m there? I am the one you pass every day, The one you look at with your eyes, Every day, Ever think what it would be like? If you saw things with your heart? It might be different; you might actually see things normally. Like you never do. I am the one you laugh at, I just have braces on my knees, It’s nothing to sneeze about, I am the one in the wheelchair, On the short bus, The one you laughed at in high school, The one who never was at the parties, Never at the hangouts, Maybe you could talk to me, Move my spirit and set me free. Maybe eventually you’ll notice me.
it came to me sorr y i know its not a story
