OCC: Yes, I've got a character. Or rather, characters. You'll meet the first one soon. I don't think you're going to like him, but then, he's not supposed to be liked.
And guys, please don't argue.

OOC: For which I'm very greatful, thank you. (I'm NOT being sarcastic.Thank you.)
About the language, don't assume because some curses that they're not Christian. Yes, it's unnecessary and everything else to use it, and we shouldn't, but the statement about being an insincere Christian is stereotyping. I know at least two guys who use foul language every other paragraph, who are decent (and very seriously Christian) people. They know it's a bad habit, and once in a while they'll apoligize for their word usage, but Maddie, people are human. They're going to slip, whether it be with language or some other thing.

Ah.
Well, no more cursing - I DON'T CARE if its natural to the character, and she had BETTER NOT be lesbian, as I said before. I am beginning a rule book now, and as soon as its finished the link will be in the homepage news banner. I want everyone to read it. Am I clear?

yeah, sure. Just make sure things match my standards.
My character description: name - Vidar height - somewhat short for a guy his age. 5'11", perhaps? age - approx. 200 years, but appears 18 or 19 I haven't decided yet. His hair is dark, dark brown with auburn undertones (sorta like mine, i guess) he has dark blue eyes, and pale skin. His fangs are retractable - he CAN form them in his human form but it makes his mouth ache, so he doesn't really do it. He can't just shape-change into ANYTHING - he's gotta get a sip of its blood first. With that in mind, he is often known as a thin grey tom cat, roaming the city's alleys. Or a raven, whichever catches his fancy. he only changes into his true vampire form the moment before he takes a human. So, yeah, not too often. (I haven't really come up with a description of what exactly that looks like, so if and when it happens, I'll write it then.)
what else?
He's somewhat shy, but enjoys pracitcal jokes. Escpecially pulling them on his unsuspecting victims. Vidar likes reading books of any sort, and sketching. He enjoys music greatly and plays guitar and a little piano. He often wears a black t-shirt, grey hoodie and somewhat baggy jeans with red converse shoes. When he can get away from the city, he roams the country side, setting up tree-forts and the like, reminescing on past times. he never stays in one place too long - maybe a year at the most becuase he's afraid to attract too much attention. he has one other vampire friend, but becuase she also moves alot, he finds it difficult to contact her.
is that all?

OOC: Found Madzid's new blog, took care of that, and finally have character names. So I'll give brief description of them, and then I'm going to start posting in character(s).
Lanyon- 400 yr old (or thereabouts) vampire, feeds on animal blood (much like Madzid's) every two weeks out of necessity and feeds on humans every decade; has NEVER drained a human; he's got hair somewhere between brown and black and brown eyes and his skin is just like every vampire-pale, he's about 6 2" and kind of gangly; he was turned when 20 in the early 1600's; lies low most of the time, plays whatever role suits him- he spent nearly 14 years as a professor (it was his favorite job but he pushed the envelope by staying in one place long enough for people to wonder if it was dye or something else keeping his hair as dark as it had been the day he came to town and he knows it), and has a bit of a temper
Menadue- vampire that frequently drains humans, very very old, was driven insane (even by vampire standards) by the ordeal Cardew put him through when he was turned; usually reckless but will cover his tracks when he has a mind to, very cruel
Cardew- vampire that turned Menadue; very subtle, very enimagtic, not much is known about him even by the other vampires; if he's fed off a human in half a millenium it's not known- he's very quiet about everything _____________________________________________________________________ IC: A boyish figure perched on a rooftop, smirking. He could've almost been human. With honey-colored hair, smoky grey eyes, and a slender, short build, he could have easily passed as a young man with aristocratic heritage but for the unnatural pallor of his skin. No noble bloodline surged through his veins- indeed, he possessed no blood of his own. Menadue was a vampire.
At the moment, a very self-satisfied vampire. Unconsciously, he ran his tongue over his prominent canines. The taste of blood- fresh, human blood- lingered on their points. He had fed well tonight. Idly, he wondered when the businessman's corpse would be found. He had been careful to make his leftovers look like a suicide, but it was tiresome to be so nice and neat while feeding. Menadue liked playing with his food.
"...found in his kitchen early Saturday morning. It appears to be a suicide but police have yet to..." Lanyon sighed and switched off the radio.
He hated it when things in the human world got messy. It always made him uneasy. Humans had minded their own business up until recently. But 1900 came around, and suddenly they were going places that had been safe from their prying, making colossal cities, inventing lightbulbs, and putting together law-enforcement squads, and in general making things much more hazardous for vampires. Not that he didn't appreciate Edison's lightbulbs. But the idiot humans had been less than two decades into their celebrated "turn of the century" before they had gone off and started shooting and bombing the world to smithereens. Churchill had been the only sensible man in the British Isles during that time in Lanyon's humble opinion. And those sirens that some fool thought to attach to the police vehicles- a demon couldn't have thought up a more effective form of irritation.
Either way, he resolved, he was leaving London in short order. Maybe in two, or five, years. He'd had enough of the place. He greatly preferred the countryside. Hmm. Ireland or Egypt? At least three quarters of a century had to have passed since he'd been to Ireland. And the last time he had been in Egypt was when he had been one hundred and thirty four. (Great fun, that. He had been an archeologist. He quite liked the tools he had used.)

OOC: Oops. Color change indicates shift in character focus. Teal= Menadue. Lime Green= Lanyon. Purple= Cardew. Yes, odd colors, but I'm trying to use things I know will show up.
