OOC: Maybe Menadue hasn't appeared physically in front of the others, but our three "heroes" definitely have food for thought now. Does that make you slightly happier, Merry?

OOC: not just 'food' for thought - a whole feast. Much thanks.
IC: Vidar unclentched his hands and found that he had stopped breathing altogether. Since it wasn't the easiest of involuntary tasks (being a vampire) he had to work to start again. Creeping around the corner, he eyed Lanyon with a new-found respect. "I owe you," he said. He found Rose without even looking - she was on the roof, watching with her wide eyes. "I dont' fancy getting caught again, so why don't we meet at my place or something?" he shrugged.
While acting non-chalant, the truth was, he wanted to know more about these two - why he'd never sensed the dhampire before, and why that strange look of ....acknowledgement? fear?....came over Lanyon's face when the chatty officer mentioned a recent suicide.
I just hope I can get something to eat soon.

Name: Elise Grant IC:Don't you dare eat that she had told her self, but Elise had gone against her better judgment. "Ug, I think I'm going to be sick." she groaned, it was morning now and she felt terrible. "Why, do I still do that time after time. I know I'll be sick the next day, but I never learn. I'm not going to be able to get to practice." she sat up, but it only made her feel worse. "and likely not the performance this evening ether." after a while she stood, but that made her feel light headed, and even more queasy. After vomiting she felt better, but still far from well. She lied down on the sofa, At least I'm out of bed. Elise stared at the ceiling for some time gradually began feeling better. That evening she did miss her performance but she could stand with out getting dizzy or vomiting, an improvement. The phone rang "Hello" Elise said "you felling better?" the person on the phone asked "Yes, some." "After the concert we were told the were were going on tour or something." "when?" "In two weeks. you'll be better then right?" "surely" where?" "uh, I forgot."
the next day Elise learned that it was not a tour but a month long contract with a man in _____. He had a concert hall and wanted to get some business. a long story short they had been hired to preform in some forgotten and likely acheint concert hall, because the manager of this orchestra was friends with the owner. fun Elise thought.

OOC: Madzid, I understand that you would like very muchly for all the threads to be updated on a more regulary basis, but if you persist in posting things like this I might strangle you. I mean that in the kindest way possible.
Spapinhagen? Come up with something a bit more... believable? Or more creatively spelled, one of the two. LOL Jk. Spell it however you like. Oh man...story sparks (unfortunately not for this thread) are driving me up the wall. I've got a four day weekend coming up soon though, so if they don't pile on the homework...maybe...I'll post lots and lots. Does that make Madzid happier-ish?

Hey, at least I'm POSTING. And I've probably got the same, if not more homework than ya do Jo. (I'm just obsessed, is all...with internet and such.) So you have absolutely NO reason to reprimand me!
anyway...is this story going to move on, or what? Can I kill it? Murder it slowly, agonizingly, with a dull scottish... butterknife blade?

before Elise knew it it was time to go and she was boarding the plane, bad weather and fog had delayed them for some time but now the were leaving. Elise couldn't help feeling just a bit nervous, she sat in her seat, buckled tightly, with her most valued possession held in her arms. This possession was her violin, she had always loved music. She could also play the piano and guitar and could easily learn any stringed instrument. Elise never had been able to play a wind instrument, although she tried to learn the clarinet some time a ago. She tried not to thing of the fact that soon they would be in the air and crossing the ocean miles in the air. and it worked until someone announced over the intercom that it was time to take off, needles to say she was nervous again.

Cautious, Lanyon nodded. Vidar seemed alright, and the dhamphire hadn't worried him after he'd caught a good whiff of her scent. He could smell the fear and embarrassment on heras clearly as if she'd sprayed it on like a human woman's perfume. But he wasn't sure he wanted to get involved in vampiric society again. What's more, he wasn't sure how to, really.
"You ought to feed beforehand, though," he mused, thoughtful. Vidar appeared quick enough, but no one- most especially vampires- was at their most brilliant while starving. And Lanyon wanted to discuss some things in depth and at great length. Vidar needed food to do so, so Vidar would feed before anything else. "We can wait or we can go on ahead, whichever's your preference." Lanyon told the other.
